When connecting the voltage regulator of a diesel generator set, attention should be paid to the following aspects:
1. The connection wire of the generator voltage regulator cannot be connected incorrectly. The signal and power supply of its output heads 2 and 3 are connected to the generator tap wire, and its voltage is 200V. It cannot be connected to 400V, otherwise it will cause burning.
2. The two external potentiometers with heads 1 and 2 should not be disconnected when the potentiometer is not connected. When the potentiometer is connected, there should be no open circuit inside the potentiometer, otherwise it may cause damage.
3. Do not use a 24V battery for magnetic field sprinting. Instead, use a 12V battery. The unit must be in a stationary state during magnetization, otherwise it may cause damage to the regulator due to high cigarette smoke.
4. Pay attention to correct wiring when using 50HZ and 60HZ, otherwise it will affect the normal use of the voltage regulator.
5. When the diesel engine is idling, do not adjust the regulator or magnetize.
6. When shutting down the generator set, the first thing to check is the cause, such as fuses, wiring, residual magnetic voltage, etc. Do not blindly adjust the adjustable potentiometer and magnetization of the voltage regulator.
